For a 501(c)3 Tax Deductability:
Write a check to:
"Institute for Central American Studies" and write La Esperanza Granada in the memo line. Please note: La Esperanza Granada is a project of the Institute for Central American Studies (ICAS), a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity in the United States. For more information about ICAS, please visit: the ICAS Homepage. ICAS will mail a tax receipt to the address that appears on your check.

To make a donation via bank/wire transfer please print these pages (in Word or Acrobat) and bring them to your Bank, or contact us at la_esperanza_granada@yahoo.com and we will send you details of how to do this. All monies transferred to Nicaragua have to be received through U.S.A. Banks, who are agents for the Nicaraguan Banking System. Details depend on whether you are transferring money in U.S. $ or in Euro's.
We are a legally registered Nicaraguan NGO, so if you wish to receive a tax deduction please check with your accountant if donations to developing countries are deductable in your country – we will happily send a copy of our registration along with a thank you letter.
