Hello! My name is Engel Leonardo Prado Pérez; I’m 11 years old, and I’m in fourth grade at José de la Cruz Mena Public School. I consider myself a smart and very strong boy. I live with my mom, Gretel, who is a very kind and loving woman. When I’m at home, I try to help her clean and wash the dishes, and when I finish, I do my homework. I’m afraid of snakes and the dark. Eating vanilla ice cream and spending time with my mom makes me happy.

My favorite food is arroz a la Valenciana, and I love to have it with a refreshing glass of orange juice. My favorite color is blue, and when I grow up, I want to be a great baseball player because baseball is my favorite sport. I’ve always wanted to have a monkey as a pet because it’s my favorite animal.

At the Pantanal Center, I’ve learned to be an obedient and well-mannered child. I’ve also learned how to read, add, and subtract. My favorite subject is Spanish, but I especially enjoy the thematic afternoons because of the coloring and drawing activities. I really enjoy laughing and, above all, learning from each teacher.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Engel Leonardo Prado Pérez, tengo 11 años y estoy en cuarto grado de primaria en el Colegio Público José de la Cruz Mena. Me considero un niño inteligente y muy fuerte. Vivo con mi mamá, Gretel, es una mujer muy, buena y amorosa. Cuando estoy en casa busco ayudarle a limpiar y lavar los trastes, y cuando termino hago mi tarea.

Me dan miedo las serpientes y la oscuridad. Me pone feliz comer helado de vainilla y pasar tiempo con mi mamá. Mi comida favorita es el arroz a la valenciana, que adoro acompañar con un rico refresco de naranja. Mi color favorito es el azul y cuando sea grande quiero ser un gran beisbolista, ya que mi deporte favorito es el béisbol. Siempre he querido tener un mono como mascota ya que es mi animal favorito.

En el centro Pantanal he aprendido a ser un niño obediente y educado. También aquí he aprendido a leer, sumar y restar. Mi área favorita es español, pero sobre todo me gustan las tardes temáticas por sus actividades de colorear y dibujar. Me gusta mucho poder tener momentos de risas y sobre todo pode aprender de cada profesor.
