Hello! My name is José Manuel Sambrana Aguilar and I am 9 years old. I’m currently in third grade at Joaquín Pasos Argüello School, where I enjoy learning new things every day alongside my classmates.

I live with my mom, my dad, two aunts, my grandmother, and my sister. At home, I like helping with the chores because I believe everyone should contribute to keeping the house nice and tidy. It also makes me feel responsible and helpful.

My favorite color is blue because it brings me a sense of calm and reminds me of a clear sky. When it comes to food, nothing beats a good plate of chicken with rice and beans. To go with it, I love drinking grape soda—it’s sweet and refreshing. I really like dogs; they seem loyal, playful, and great companions. And in my free time, I enjoy watching horror movies because they intrigue me and keep me on the edge of my seat.

When I think about my future, I have a very clear dream: I want to be a soccer player. I get excited thinking about playing in a big stadium, chasing the ball, and representing my team with pride.

This is my first year at La Esperanza Granada, and I love coming here because they’re helping me read better and I learn something new every day. I feel motivated, supported, and happy to be part of this place where growing is part of the fun.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es José Manuel Sambrana Aguilar y tengo 9 años. Actualmente curso el tercer grado en el colegio Joaquín Pasos Argüello, donde disfruto cada día aprendiendo cosas nuevas junto a mis compañeros.

Vivo con mi mamá, mi papá, dos tías, mi abuelita y mi hermana. En casa me gusta ayudar con los quehaceres, porque siento que todos debemos aportar para que el hogar esté bonito y ordenado. Además, eso me hace sentir responsable y útil.

Mi color favorito es el azul, porque me transmite tranquilidad y me recuerda al cielo despejado. Si hablamos de comida, no hay nada que disfrute más que un buen plato de pollo con arroz y frijoles. Para acompañarlo, me encanta tomar refresco de uva, que es dulce y refrescante. Me gustan mucho los perros; me parecen fieles, juguetones y buenos amigos. Y cuando tengo tiempo libre, me gusta ver películas de terror, porque me intrigan y me mantienen atento todo el rato.

Cuando pienso en mi futuro, tengo un sueño muy claro: quiero ser futbolista. Me emociona la idea de jugar en un gran estadio, correr detrás del balón y representar a mi equipo con orgullo.

Este es mi primer año en La Esperanza Granada, y me encanta venir porque me enseñan a leer mejor y cada día aprendo algo nuevo. Aquí me siento motivado, acompañado y feliz de formar parte de este espacio donde crecer es parte de la diversión.
