Hello! My name is Harishell Del Carmen Polanco Balladares, I am 11 years old, and I study at Joaquín Pasos Argüello School. I’m currently in 5th grade, and I work hard every day to learn and improve myself.

I live with my mom, my aunt, my grandmother, my sister, my cousin (boy), and my cousin (girl). At home, I like to study because I want to prepare myself to be someone in life, and I also enjoy playing, especially when I’m with my loved ones.

My favorite colors are blue and green because they make me feel peaceful and energized. My favorite food is arroz a la valenciana (Valencian-style rice), and when it comes to drinks, I prefer a nice cold soda. Among animals, dogs are my favorite because they are loyal and affectionate.

When I think about my future, I know for sure that I want to be a doctor. I’d like to help people feel better and take care of their health with kindness and responsibility.

This is my second year at La Esperanza Granada, and I really enjoy coming to the center because I want to learn more and gain confidence to speak in public. Every day here is a new opportunity to grow, share, and move closer to my goals.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Harishell Del Carmen Polanco Balladares, tengo 11 años y estudio en la Escuela Joaquín Pasos Argüello. Actualmente curso el 5.º grado y me esfuerzo cada día por aprender y superarme.

Vivo con mi mamá, mi tía, mi abuelita, mi hermana, mi primo y mi prima. En casa me gusta estudiar porque quiero prepararme para ser alguien en la vida, y también disfruto jugar, especialmente cuando estoy con mis seres queridos.

Mis colores favoritos son el azul y el verde porque me hacen sentir en paz y con energía. Mi comida favorita es el arroz a la valenciana, y en cuanto a bebidas, prefiero una gaseosa bien fría. Entre los animales, los perros son mis favoritos porque son leales y cariñosos.

Cuando pienso en mi futuro, tengo claro que quiero ser doctora. Me gustaría ayudar a las personas a sentirse mejor y cuidar de su salud con amabilidad y responsabilidad.

Este es mi segundo año en La Esperanza Granada, y disfruto mucho venir al centro porque quiero aprender más y ganar confianza para hablar en público. Cada día aquí es una nueva oportunidad para crecer, compartir y acercarme más a mis metas.
