Hello! My name is Dereck José Pavón Calero. I am 9 years old and study in fourth grade at Elba Zamora School. I live with my mom Ivone, my dad José, and my brother Chavi Josué Pavón Calero. I love spending time with them because they always help me with my homework and give me lots of love.

My favorite food is chicken with potatoes, and my favorite drink is pear juice. I like playing baseball, watching the movie Minions because it makes me laugh, and spending time with my friends during art afternoons. I love playing with my brother, watching movies with my family, and going out in the afternoons to play soccer on the field. My favorite color is blue.

I’m very afraid of snakes, spiders, and scorpions. And I always smile! I like being cheerful and funny.

My favorite subject at the Escudo Learning Center is math because the teachers help me a lot and guide me when I have problems. I’m very thankful for their patience and kindness.
One of the things I enjoy most at the Escudo Learning Center are the art afternoons, because I have so much fun with my friends doing creative things.

I’m a curious, happy boy with a great desire to learn. When I grow up, I want to be a doctor so I can save many lives and take care of sick people and the elderly. I also love spending time with my family, whether it’s watching a movie or just being together and laughing a lot. I really enjoy playing with my brother, going out in the afternoons, and playing soccer on the field. I also love playing with my friends at school.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Dereck José Pavón Calero. Tengo 9 años y estudio en cuarto grado en el colegio Elba Zamora. Vivo con mi mamá Ivone, mi papá José y mi hermano Chavi Josué Pavón Calero. Amo pasar tiempo con ellos porque siempre me ayudan en mis tareas y me dan mucho amor.

Mi comida favorita es el pollo con papa y mi bebida favorita es el jugo de pera. Me gusta jugar béisbol, ver la película Los Minions porque me hace reír, y compartir con mis amigos en las tardes de arte. Me encanta jugar con mi hermano, ver películas con mi familia y salir por las tardes a jugar fútbol en el campo. Mi color favorito es el azul.

Me dan mucho miedo las serpientes, las arañas y los alacranes. Y siempre sonrío. Me gusta ser alegre y divertido.

Mi área favorita en el centro del escudo es matemática, porque los profesores me ayudan mucho y me ayudan a resolver mis problemas. Le agradezco por su paciencia y su cariño a cada uno de ellos.
Una de las cosas que más disfruto en el centro de aprendizaje del Escudo son las tardes de arte, porque me divierto mucho con mis amigos haciendo cosas creativas. Además,

Soy un niño curioso, alegre y con muchas ganas de aprender. Cuando sea grande quiero ser un doctor, para así salvar muchas vidas y cuidar de las personas enfermas y de los abuelitos. También me gusta pasar tiempo con mi familia, ya sea viendo una película o estando juntos y riendo mucho. Me gusta mucho jugar con mi hermano. Salir por las tardes y jugar fútbol en el campo me llena de alegría. También me encanta ir a jugar con mis amigos en el colegio.
