Hello! My name is Delvin Steven. I am 8 years old and I live with my mom, my dad, and my siblings. We are a very close family, and at home there is always time to play, share stories, and learn together. I am in second grade at El Escudo School, where I really enjoy classes because my teachers explain things with care and motivate us to do our best.

My favorite food is roasted chicken, especially when it’s golden and juicy. I like to eat it with rice or potatoes. To drink, I prefer lemonade because it’s refreshing and I like its sweet and sour taste. My favorite color is red because it seems strong, cheerful, and full of energy. I love seeing cars and toys in that color.

I am passionate about basketball. I like running across the court, throwing the ball into the hoop, and feeling the excitement of scoring. That’s why, when I grow up, I would like to be a professional basketball player. I also want to be a mechanic because I’m interested in how cars work and how to fix them. I imagine myself working in a workshop and helping people repair their vehicles.

My favorite animal is the cat. I think they are calm, cute, and very intelligent. I like petting them and watching them curl up when they rest. Although I like many animals, I am afraid of snakes. Their movements and appearance scare me, so I always stay away if I know one is nearby.

One of my favorite hobbies is building cars with toy pieces. I also enjoy watching cartoons and pretending to be a race car driver with my toy cars. I have a lot of fun going out with my family, especially when we visit parks where I can run, climb, and explore different spaces.

I happily attend the Escudo Learning Center in La Esperanza, Granada. There, the teachers are always ready to help us with our homework and teach in ways that make learning fun. Sometimes we play, other times we paint or solve problems together. I like being there because I learn without pressure and am always treated with respect and kindness.

¡Hola! Soy Delvin Steven. Tengo 8 años y vivo con mi mamá, mi papá y mis hermanos. Somos una familia muy unida, y en casa siempre hay espacio para jugar, compartir cuentos y aprender juntos. Estudio segundo grado en el colegio El Escudo, donde disfruto mucho de las clases porque mis maestros nos explican con cariño y nos motivan a dar lo mejor de nosotros.

Mi comida favorita es el pollo asado, especialmente cuando está bien dorado y jugoso. Me gusta acompañarlo con arroz o papas. Para tomar, prefiero la limonada porque me refresca y me gusta su sabor entre ácido y dulce. Mi color favorito es el rojo porque me parece un color fuerte, alegre y lleno de energía. Me encanta ver carros y juguetes de ese color.

Me apasiona el básquetbol. Me gusta correr por la cancha, lanzar la pelota al aro y sentir la emoción de encestar. Por eso, cuando sea grande, me gustaría ser basquetbolista profesional. También quiero ser mecánico, porque me interesa saber cómo funcionan los carros y cómo arreglarlos. Me imagino trabajando en un taller y ayudando a las personas a reparar sus vehículos.

Mi animal favorito es el gato. Me parecen tranquilos, tiernos y muy inteligentes. Me gusta acariciarlos y ver cómo se acurrucan cuando descansan. Aunque me gustan muchos animales, le tengo miedo a las culebras. Me asustan sus movimientos y su aspecto. Siempre me alejo si sé que hay una cerca.

Uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos es armar autos con piezas de juguete. También me gusta ver dibujos animados y jugar a ser piloto de carreras con mis carritos. Me divierte mucho salir a pasear con mi familia, especialmente cuando visitamos parques donde puedo correr, trepar y explorar diferentes espacios.

Voy con alegría al Centro de Aprendizaje Escudo. En este lugar los educadores siempre están dispuestos a ayudarnos con nuestras tareas y nos enseñan de formas que hacen que aprender sea divertido. A veces jugamos, otras veces pintamos o resolvemos problemas juntos. Me gusta estar allí porque aprendo sin presión, y siempre me tratan con respeto y amabilidad.
