The winner receives:

1. One return, economy-class airfare to Managua, Nicaragua from anywhere in the world, with a maximum reimbursement of USD $1,500. 

2. Comfy ground transportation between Granada and the airport. 

3. Ten consecutive nights of accommodation in a private estate’s three-bedroom guesthouse.   The estate is just two blocks from Granada’s Central Park.

4. Access to all amenities on the estate, including swimming pool, pool table, gourmet kitchen, bocce court, high-speed internet, multiple gardens, panoramic terrace, hammocks, dart board, and more. 

5. Visit our Learning Centers, and meet some of our primary school kids.   You can even help teach if you like. Sponsors – meet your sponsored student.

6. The winner may bring up to five additional guests. Additional guests are responsible for their own airfare. All ground transportation and accommodations are FREE. 

The guesthouse has: 

• One bedroom with a king-size bed with an ensuite bathroom, plus 

• two bedrooms – each with a twin-size bed.  These rooms share a bathroom. 

• All bedrooms have air conditioning.

Winner Selection

 

• The draw will be conducted using the digital random selection platform, App-Sorteos (app-sorteos.com).

• All eligible tickets will be uploaded into App-Sorteos, where each ticket constitutes an individual entry.

• One (1) winning ticket will be selected through an automated and unbiased randomization process without manual intervention.

• The draw result is final and binding.

• The winner will be announced on November 30th 2026.

• Tickets are only eligible for the draw if payment has been received by the October 15, 2026, and remains received as of the date the travel takes place.

• The winner will be contacted using the contact details they provided at the time of entry. If the winner does not respond within 15 days, or declines the prize, a new winner will be selected using the same process as the initial draw.

How you earn entries

Participants will earn entries (“tickets” – each uniquely numbered) as follows:

  • •  Referrals (Free Tickets)

If you refer a qualifying donor or sponsor, you will receive tickets at no cost, provided the donor/sponsor includes your name at the time of their payment.   For every qualifying donation they make, you get one ticket. For every child they sponsor, you get 2 tickets. FREE!

• Donations

For every donation of €200 or USD $300, the donor receives 3 tickets.

• Sponsorships

For every five-year sponsorship commitment of €300/year or USD $400/year the sponsor earns 8 tickets.  Only the first-year’s payment needs to be paid for the tickets to be eligible for the draw. 

General terms

1. Any attempt to manipulate or fraudulently enter the contest will result in disqualification.

2. By participating, entrants agree to these terms and conditions in full.

3. Contest is open worldwide, except where prohibited by local law.

4. Entrants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

5. No fractional tickets will be issued.

6. The prize is transferable but cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. The winner is responsible for:

  1. Any flight costs exceeding USD $1,500
  2. Travel insurance
  3. Passports, visas, Nicaraguan entry fee (~$10), and any required travel documents
  4.  Meals and personal expenses not included

8. Flight reimbursement process:

  1. The winner will initially pay for their airfare.
  2. Reimbursement of airfare (up to the USD $1,500 limit) will be made upon winner’s arrival in Granada.
  3. A receipt must be provided.

9. The estate is subject to availability. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred dates.  Booking at least two months ahead will help.

10. Winners and the guests will abide to the house rules.

11. Neither La Esperanza Granada, nor the owner of the estate where the winner stays, is responsible for:

• Flight cancellations, delays, or disruptions
• Lost luggage or personal belongings
• Injury, illness, or travel-related incidents
• Any financial loss of winners or their guests during their travel or stay.

12. By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless La Esperanza Granada and its partners from any liability related to the contest or prize.
