Hello!

My name is Ángel Yair Pérez Herrera, I am 7 years old, and I study at José de la Cruz Mena School. I’m in second grade, and I love learning. I have an older brother who always helps me with my homework. His name is José Esteban, and I love him very much because he’s very kind to me. He also used to study at the Pantanal Learning Center, just like I do, but he couldn’t continue because he now goes to school in the afternoons.

My mom’s name is Raquel. She is a homemaker and always takes care of us. My dad’s name is Bismark, and he’s a police officer—a job I really admire. My favorite color is blue because it reminds me of the sky and the sea. My favorite food is chicken, and my favorite subject is math because it’s so much fun. Also, my favorite game is soccer—I love running and playing with my friends!

When I’m not at the Pantanal Learning Center, I spend time at home studying with my mom and my brother. But what I like the most is going to the center because I learn a lot and there are always fun activities. I really enjoy themed afternoons and art afternoons because we dance, do crafts, and many other things. What I especially like is that the teachers are kind, they teach me, and they are very patient. When I grow up, I want to be a police officer just like my dad.

¡Hola! Me llamo Ángel Yair Pérez Herrera, tengo 7 años y estudio en el Colegio José de la Cruz Mena. Estoy en segundo grado y me encanta aprender. Tengo un hermano mayor que siempre me ayuda con mi tarea, se llama José Esteban, y lo quiero mucho porque es muy bueno conmigo, él estuvo estudiando también allí mismo donde yo estudio el centro Pantanal, pero ya no pudo continuar porque entro a estudiar por las tardes a la escuela.

Mi mamá se llama Raquel, es ama de casa y siempre está cuidándonos. Mi papá se llama Bismark y es policía, un trabajo que admiro mucho. Mi color favorito es el azul porque me recuerda al cielo y al mar. Mi comida favorita es el pollo, y mi clase favorita es matemática porque me divierte mucho. Además, mi juego favorito es el fútbol, ¡me encanta correr y jugar con mis amigos!

Cuando no asisto al Centro de Aprendizaje Pantanal, paso el tiempo en casa estudiando con mi mamá y mi hermano. Pero lo que más me gusta es ir al centro, porque ahí aprendo muchísimo y siempre hay actividades divertidas, me gusta mucho las tarde temáticas y las tardes de arte porque bailamos, hacemos manualidades y muchas otras cosas, en especial me gusta porque los profesores son buenos, me enseñan y tienen mucha paciencia, Cuando sea grande también quiero ser como mi papá policia.
