Hello! My name is Dereck Johandry Useda SancheZ, I am 9 years old, and I study at Joaquín Pasos Argüello School. I’m currently in 4th grade, and this year has been very special for me because I’ve learned many new things.

I live with my mom, my grandmother, my uncle, my cousin, and my brother. At home, I like to help with the chores, especially sweeping and washing clothes. I feel good when I help, and my family appreciates it.

My favorite colors are red, black, and white. I love eating roasted chicken, and if I could have it with a cold orange juice, it would be even better! I also really like dogs—they’re my favorite animals.

When I have free time, I enjoy watching movies. One of my favorites is Jumanji because it’s full of adventures and exciting moments. When I grow up, I want to be an engineer because I’d like to build big and interesting things.

This is my first year at La Esperanza Granada, and I’ve loved being here. I like it because I’ve learned how to divide and do many things I didn’t know before. I also have fun, spend time with other kids, and feel more confident in what I can do.

¡Hola! Me llamo Dereck Johandri Useda Sanchez, tengo 9 años y estudio en el colegio Joaquín Pasos Argüello. Actualmente estoy en 4° grado y este año ha sido muy especial para mí porque he aprendido muchas cosas nuevas.

Vivo con mi mamá, mi abuela, mi tío, mi primo y mi hermano. En mi casa me gusta ayudar con los quehaceres, sobre todo barrer y lavar la ropa. Me siento bien cuando colaboro y mi familia me lo agradece.

Mis colores favoritos son el rojo, el negro y el blanco. Me encanta comer pollo asado, y si lo acompaño con un jugo de naranja bien frío, ¡mucho mejor! También me gustan mucho los perros, son mis animales favoritos.

Cuando tengo tiempo libre, me gusta ver películas. Una de las que más disfruto es Jumanji, porque tiene muchas aventuras y siempre pasan cosas emocionantes. Cuando sea grande, quiero ser ingeniero, porque me gustaría construir cosas grandes e interesantes.

Este es mi primer año en La Esperanza Granada, y me ha encantado estar aquí. Me gusta porque he aprendido a dividir y a hacer muchas cosas que antes no sabía. También me divierto, comparto con otros niños y me siento más seguro de lo que puedo hacer.
