Hello! My name is Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Durán, and I am 10 years old. I’m in 5th grade at Mercedes Mondragon School. At school, I like math classes and making friends.

I live with my mom, Carmen Durán, and my aunt. They are very affectionate with me and so am I with them.

At home, I like to play with the phone and soccer with my neighborhood friends. My favorite color is red, and my favorite food is rice with beans and cheese. For drinks, I like soda. My favorite animal is the tiger, and I like to watch scary movies.

I am afraid of cockroaches. When I grow up, I want to be a professional soccer player, although my favorite sport is baseball.

Sabaneta Learning Center has been like a second home for me, because they teach me subjects, especially math. I have participated in dance activities, drawing and theme afternoons. The days I like the most at the Sabaneta Center are Thursdays, because we do art afternoons, where we do different activities, such as making bracelets, dancing and singing.

I consider myself a very happy and intelligent child; I like to enjoy and spend time with my classmates.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Durán y tengo 10 años. Estoy en 5to grado en el Colegio Mercedes Mondragón. En el colegio, me gustan las clases de matemáticas y hacer amigos.

Vivo con mi mamá, Carmen Durán, y mi tía. Ellas son muy cariñosas conmigo y yo también con ellas.

En mi casa, me gusta jugar con el teléfono y jugar fútbol con mis compañeros del barrio. Mi color favorito es el rojo y mi comida favorita es el arroz con frijoles y queso. De bebidas, me gusta la gaseosa. Mi animal favorito es el tigre, y me gusta ver películas de miedo.

Me da miedo la cucaracha. Cuando sea grande, quiero ser futbolista profesional, aunque mi deporte favorito es el béisbol.

El Centro de Aprendizaje Sabaneta ha sido como una segunda casa para mí, porque me enseñan las materias, especialmente matemáticas. He participado en actividades de baile, dibujos y en las tardes temáticas. Los días que más me gustan en el Centro Sabaneta son los jueves, porque hacemos tardes de arte, donde realizamos diversas actividades como hacer pulseras, bailar y cantar.

Me considero un niño muy alegre e inteligente; me gusta disfrutar y pasar tiempo con mis compañeros.
