Hello! I am Joseph Benjamín Obando López, I am 10 years old, and I am currently in fifth grade at Dr. Lorenzo Guerrero School. I am halfway through my primary education and I’m happy because I learn more every day. I consider myself a fun, friendly, studious, and very sociable boy.

I live with my mom, Judith Obando, and my brother, Freddy Obando. We all love each other very much. At home, I do my homework, watch television, and when I finish my responsibilities, I go play at my friends’ houses, close to where I live.

My favorite colors are blue and green, and I really enjoy spaghetti and cocoa as my favorite drink. My favorite animals are dogs and parrots, and I love baseball, although I practice soccer more.

One thing about me is that I am very scared of scorpions. When I grow up, I want to be a firefighter to help others.

La Sabaneta Learning Center has been like a second school for me, where I have learned a lot. I have had the opportunity to be part of this center since I was 6 years old. Throughout this time, I have learned a lot through the workshops we have, such as Emotions, Children’s Rights, among others, which I apply in my school, home, and community.

I enjoy everything about the Sabaneta Center, but especially the Computer area and the afternoon activities organized by the educators. With each new topic I learn, my hunger for knowledge grows. I also enjoy putting into practice what I learn.

¡Hola! Soy Joseph Benjamín Obando López, tengo 10 años y actualmente estoy en quinto grado en el Colegio Dr. Lorenzo Guerrero. Estoy en la mitad de mis estudios de primaria y contento porque cada vez aprendo más. Me considero un niño divertido, amigable, estudioso y muy sociable.

Vivo con mi mamá, Judith Obando, y mi hermano, Freddy Obando. Todos nos queremos mucho. En casa, realizo tareas, veo televisión y cuando termino mis obligaciones voy a jugar a casa de mis amigos, cerca de donde vivo.

Mis colores favoritos son el azul y el verde, y disfruto mucho del spaghetti y el cacao como bebida favorita. Mis animales favoritos son el perro y el chocoyo, y me encanta el béisbol, aunque practico más el fútbol.

Algo sobre mí es que me da mucho miedo el alacrán. Cuando sea grande, quiero ser bombero para ayudar a las demás personas.

El Centro de Aprendizaje Sabaneta ha sido como una segunda escuela para mí, donde he aprendido mucho. Tuve la oportunidad de formar parte de este centro desde los 6 años. A lo largo de este tiempo he aprendido mucho a través de los talleres que nos imparten, como Las Emociones, Derechos de la niñez, entre otros, los cuales pongo en práctica estos aprendizajes en mi escuela, hogar y comunidad.

Del centro Sabaneta disfruto todo, pero especialmente del área de Computación y o de las tardes de actividades organizadas por los educadores. Con cada tema nuevo que veo despierta mi hambre por aprender, también me gusta poner en práctica lo que aprendo.
