Hello! My name is Josué Danilo Ramírez, and I am 12 years old. I am in fifth grade at the Granada Christian Educational Center. I consider myself a handsome boy. I live with my mom, Kerling Portillo, who is a homemaker; my dad, Gabriel Ramírez, who is a tailor; my sister, Franchesca Portillo, who is 6 years old and goes to school; and my grandmother, Juana Noguera. I don’t know yet what I want to be when I grow up, but I do like what firefighters do.

When I’m at home, I listen to Christian music, do my homework, and play with my sister. I am afraid of the dark because I have heard many stories. I enjoy playing soccer and listening to music. My favorite food is “arroz a la valenciana” (a type of rice dish), and I love mango juice. My favorite color is red and blue, and my favorite sport is soccer. I like going to my aunts’ house because they have ducks, which are my favorite animals.

At the Pantanal center, I have learned to write and read, and what I like most is that I always learn while playing. My favorite subject is mathematics because I like numbers, and I especially enjoy themed afternoons, particularly the one about the solar system.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Josué Danilo Ramírez y tengo 12 años. Estoy en quinto grado de primaria en el centro educativo cristiano Granada. Me considero un niño bonito. Vivo con mi mamá Kerling Portillo, quien es ama de casa, mi papá Gabriel Ramírez, que es sastre, mi hermana Franchesca Portillo, que tiene 6 años y va a la escuela, y mi abuela Juana Noguera. Aún no sé qué quiero ser cuando sea grande, pero si me gusta lo que hacen los bomberos.

Cuando estoy en casa, escucho música cristiana, hago mis tareas y juego con mi hermana. Me da miedo la oscuridad porque he escuchado muchas historias. Me pone feliz jugar fútbol y escuchar música. Mi comida favorita es el arroz a la valenciana y me encanta el refresco de mango. Mi color favorito es el rojo y azul y mi deporte favorito es el fútbol; me gusta ir donde mis tías porque tienen patos, que son mi animal favorito.

En el centro pantanal he aprendido a escribir y leer, y lo que más me gusta es que siempre aprendo jugando. Mi área favorita es matemáticas porque me gustan los números y las tardes temáticas, especialmente la del sistema solar.
