Hello, my name is Lester Antonio García Mora. I’m ten years old, I attend Pablo Antonio Cuadra School, and I’m in fourth grade.

I’m a quiet, somewhat silent child. I don’t really like running or playing games that involve a lot of movement. Sometimes I have a hard time talking to many people, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have friends. In fact, I have several very talkative friends, and I like listening to them tell me their stories or what happened to them during their day.

I prefer doing more relaxing activities. I really like putting together puzzles or building towers with Lego blocks or inventing my own constructions. It makes me feel calm and allows me to imagine.

In my family, I really enjoy being together. One of my favorite moments is when we cook or when we sit down to eat at the table. While we eat, everyone shares their day. I like to share what I learned at school and listen to others. It’s a special moment for me because we’re united and happy.

This is my first year at the Pancasan Learning Center. My favorite area is art class. During those afternoons, my teachers teach us how to make crafts, draw, and use different materials to create. I love cutting, coloring, and giving shape to my ideas. I especially like when we can draw whatever we want and paint it with the colors we like best. On one of those afternoons, we had a dance activity. Although I don’t really like dancing, that day I felt different, as if I were in another world, calm and free. It was an experience I really enjoyed, in the future i would like to be an engineer.

My favorite color is green. I like it because I see it in the trees, the leaves, and in nature. Sometimes I just watch the wind move the leaves, and it makes me feel at peace. Green reminds me that everything grows and that there’s always something beautiful around us if we know how to observe.

Hola, mi nombre es Lester Antonio García Mora. Tengo diez años, estudio en la Escuela Pablo Antonio Cuadra y estoy en cuarto grado.

Soy un niño tranquilo, un poco callado. No me gusta mucho correr ni jugar juegos que impliquen mucho movimiento. A veces me cuesta hablar con muchas personas, pero eso no significa que no tenga amigos. De hecho, tengo varios amigos muy conversadores, y me gusta escucharlos contarme sus historias o lo que les pasó durante el día.

Prefiero hacer actividades más relajantes. Me gusta mucho armar rompecabezas, construir torres con bloques de Lego o inventar mis propias construcciones. Eso me hace sentir calmado y me permite imaginar.

En mi familia disfruto mucho estar juntos. Uno de mis momentos favoritos es cuando cocinamos o cuando nos sentamos a comer en la mesa. Mientras comemos, todos compartimos cómo nos fue en el día. A mí me gusta contar lo que aprendí en la escuela y escuchar a los demás. Es un momento especial para mí porque estamos unidos y felices.

Este es mi primer año en el Centro de Aprendizaje Pancasan. Mi área favorita es la clase de arte. Durante esas tardes, mis maestras nos enseñan a hacer manualidades, dibujar y usar diferentes materiales para crear. Me encanta recortar, colorear y darle forma a mis ideas. En especial, me gusta cuando podemos dibujar lo que queramos y pintarlo con los colores que más nos gustan. Una de esas tardes tuvimos una actividad de baile. Aunque no me gusta mucho bailar, ese día me sentí diferente, como si estuviera en otro mundo, tranquilo y libre. Fue una experiencia que disfruté mucho. En el futuro, me gustaría ser ingeniero.

Mi color favorito es el verde. Me gusta porque lo veo en los árboles, en las hojas y en la naturaleza. A veces me quedo viendo cómo el viento mueve las hojas, y eso me hace sentir en paz. El verde me recuerda que todo crece y que siempre hay algo hermoso a nuestro alrededor si sabemos observar.
