Hello! My name is Mariana Stefany Roblero Flores. I am 12 years old, and my birthday is on September 27. I am in sixth grade at Nueva Esperanza School. My mom’s name is María Flores, and my dad’s name is Mariano Roblero. My dad works at a hotel, and my mom is a homemaker; she takes care of us and our home.

I have two siblings: a sister named Alejandra, and a brother named Andrés. In our house, there are four people living together. I feel very sad because my sister Alejandra went to live with her boyfriend and doesn’t visit us often, but I’m very happy when she comes to see us.

I’m very scared of snakes, but I feel very good at home. That’s where I study, and sometimes I help my mom sweep and wash the dishes, although I get stressed sometimes. I don’t watch much television; I prefer to spend my time doing other things. I have two friends who are my neighbors, and we have lots of fun together.

My favorite subject is Spanish; I enjoy reading and writing. My favorite animal is the dog because it is a great friend, and my favorite color is yellow because it represents the color of the sun. My favorite food is pizza, and my favorite sport is soccer. When I grow up, I would like to be a dentist and a police officer. I consider myself a cheerful and honest person, always trying to do my best in everything I do.

I like going to the Pantanal Learning Center because there’s always something new to learn, and I get to meet new friends.

¡Hola! Me llamo Mariana Stefany Roblero Flores, tengo 12 años y cumplo años el 27 de septiembre. Estoy en sexto grado en el colegio Nueva Esperanza. Mi mamá se llama María Flores y mi papá se llama Mariano Roblero. Mi papá trabaja en un hotel y mi mamá es ama de casa; ella se encarga de cuidarnos y de la casa.

Tengo dos hermanos: una hermana llamada Alejandra y un hermano llamado Andrés. En nuestra casa vivimos cuatro personas en total. Me pone muy triste que mi hermana Alejandra se fue a vivir con su novio y no nos visita mucho, pero me hace muy feliz cuando viene a visitarnos.

Me asustan mucho las culebras, pero me siento muy bien en mi casa. Allí estudio y a veces le ayudo a mi mamá a barrer y lavar los trastes, pero a veces me estreso. No veo mucha televisión, prefiero pasar el tiempo haciendo otras cosas. Tengo dos amigos que son mis vecinos y con quienes me divierto mucho.

Mi área favorita es español; me gusta leer y escribir. Mi animal favorito es el perro, ya que es un gran amigo, y mi color favorito es el amarillo porque representa el color del sol. Mi comida favorita es la pizza, y mi deporte favorito es el futbol. Cuando sea grande, me gustaría ser dentista y policía. Me considero una persona alegre y honesta, siempre tratando de hacer lo mejor en todo lo que hago.

Me gusta asistir al centro de aprendizaje Pantanal porque siempre hay algo nuevo por aprender y porque conozco amigos nuevos.
