Hello! My name is Nery Mercedes Quiroz Jaime, I am 11 years old, and I study at Joaquín Pasos Argüello School. I’m currently in 6th grade, and I try to put a lot of effort into my studies so I can keep learning every day.

I live with my mom, my dad, my grandfather, two cousins, and two sisters. At home, I really enjoy playing with my cousins and sisters because we always laugh, make up games, and have a great time together.

My favorite colors are black, purple, and pink. I love eating hamburgers, and when I’m thirsty, I prefer drinking very cold water. Dogs are my favorite pets—I find them loyal, loving, and very playful.

One of my favorite movies is Home Alone, because it makes me laugh and I like how the boy comes up with clever ways to protect his house. When I grow up, I would like to be a dentist because I’m interested in helping people take care of their smiles and have good oral health.

This is my first year at La Esperanza Granada, and I love coming here because I not only learn, but I also have a lot of fun. Every day is an opportunity to discover something new, spend time with my classmates, and keep growing.

¡Hola! Me llamo Nery Mercedes Quiroz Jaime, tengo 11 años y estudio en el colegio Joaquín Pasos Argüello. Actualmente estoy en 6to grado y trato de poner mucho empeño en mis estudios para seguir aprendiendo cada día.

Vivo con mi mamá, mi papá, mi abuelo, dos primos y dos hermanas. En mi casa me gusta mucho jugar con mis primos y hermanas, porque siempre nos reímos, nos inventamos juegos y la pasamos bien todos juntos.

Mis colores favoritos son el negro, el morado y el rosado. Me encanta comer hamburguesa y cuando tengo sed prefiero tomar agua bien fría. Los perros son mis mascotas favoritas, me parecen fieles, cariñosos y muy juguetones.

Una de las películas que más me gusta es Mi pequeño angelito, porque me hace reír y me gusta cómo el niño se las ingenia para proteger su casa. Cuando sea grande, me gustaría ser odontóloga, porque me interesa ayudar a las personas a cuidar su sonrisa y tener una buena salud bucal.

Este es mi primer año en La Esperanza Granada, y me encanta venir porque aquí no solo aprendo, sino que también me divierto mucho. Cada día es una oportunidad para descubrir algo nuevo, compartir con mis compañeros y seguir creciendo.
