Hello! My name is Raquel Sarahí Guadamuz Mayorquín, I am 9 years old, and I’m in third grade at the José de la Cruz Mena Public School. I live with my mom, my dad, and my sister Stefany.

I’m a very smart girl and, above all, very friendly, but something I still need to work on is not being impatient and understanding that everything happens in its own time.

My favorite color is pink, and my favorite animal is the zebra.

I’m a girl who smiles a lot and shows her happiness through laughter and hugs. I get really scared when I’m left alone at home—I think something bad might happen, and I don’t like being by myself.

At the Pantanal Learning Center, I’ve made friends who make me happy, and most importantly, I’ve learned to color, read a little better, and every time I’m here, I have fun but also learn a lot from the educators. I love the art afternoons because we do lots of crafts. When I grow up, I also want to be a teacher.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Raquel Sarahí Guadamuz Mayorquín. Tengo 9 años y curso tercer grado en la Escuela Pública José de la Cruz Mena. Vivo con mi mamá, mi papá y mi hermana Stefany.

Soy una niña muy inteligente y, sobre todo, muy amigable, pero algo en lo que todavía necesito trabajar es en no ser impaciente y entender que todo sucede a su debido tiempo.

Mi color favorito es el rosado y mi animal favorito es la cebra.

Soy una niña que sonríe mucho y demuestra su felicidad con risas y abrazos. Me da mucho miedo quedarme sola en la casa porque pienso que podría pasar algo malo, y no me gusta estar sola.

En el Centro de Aprendizaje Pantanal he hecho amigos que me hacen muy feliz y, lo más importante, he aprendido a colorear, a leer un poco mejor y, cada vez que estoy aquí, me divierto mientras aprendo mucho de los educadores. Me encantan las tardes de arte porque hacemos muchas manualidades. Cuando sea grande, también quiero ser maestra.
