Hello! My name is Stiven, and I was born on July 9, 2018. I am 8 years old, and I study at Nueva Esperanza Public School. I am in first grade and my favorite subject is Spanish because I like learning new words and reading with my teacher. I live with my family. My dad’s name is Francisco, and he works in construction. My mom’s name is Francis and she works in cleaning. I also live with my grandma Socorro, my older sister Nataly, and my brothers Amil and Gustavo. Nataly takes good care of us and always looks after everything.

One of my strengths is that I play baseball very well—I love that sport! I also enjoy doing my homework, playing with my brothers, and watching cartoons on YouTube. My favorite color is green. I really like eating rice with beans and cheese, and my favorite drink is melon juice.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I go to the Pantanal Center. I love spending time with my classmates and teachers. My favorite time is art afternoons because they’ve taught me how to cut, use scissors properly, and color. Coloring is one of my passions.

I get scared when I see frogs—I really don’t like them. Something that worries me a lot is when my brother Amil gets sick, because I love him very much.

When I grow up, I want to be a police officer so I can help people. A very important value for me is friendship, because I like having friends and taking care of them.

I’m a happy, curious boy and I like learning new things every day.

¡Hola! Me llamo Steven y nací el 09 de julio del año 2018. Tengo 8 años y estudio en el colegio público Nueva Esperanza. Estoy en primer grado y mi materia favorita es Español porque me gusta aprender nuevas palabras y leer con mi maestra. Vivo con mi familia. Mi papá se llama Francisco y trabaja en construcción. Mi mamá se llama Francis y trabaja haciendo limpieza. También vivo con mi abuelita Socorro, mi hermana mayor Nataly y mis hermanos Amil y Gustavo. Nataly cuida mucho de nosotros y siempre está pendiente de todo.

Una fortaleza mía es que juego muy bien béisbol, ¡me encanta ese deporte! También me gusta mucho hacer mis tareas, jugar con mis hermanos y ver caricaturas en YouTube. Mi color favorito es el verde. Me gusta mucho comer arroz con frijoles y queso, y mi bebida favorita es el melón.

Los martes y jueves voy al Centro Pantanal. Me encanta compartir con mis compañeros y educadores. Las tardes de arte son mis favoritas porque ahí me han enseñado a recortar, usar bien las tijeras y colorear. Colorear es una de mis pasiones.

Me da miedo cuando veo sapos, no me gustan nada. Y algo que me preocupa mucho es cuando mi hermano Amil se enferma, porque lo quiero mucho.

Cuando sea grande quiero ser policía para ayudar a las personas. Un valor muy importante para mí es la amistad, porque me gusta tener amigos y cuidarlos.

Soy un niño alegre, curioso y me gusta aprender cosas nuevas todos los días.
