Hello! My name is Yeskania Alvarado Guevara. I am 10 years old and currently in fifth grade at the Centro Educativo Cristiano de Granada. I live with my mom, Carla, who works as a cook and also takes care of the house when she has time, and my dad, Oscar Alvarado, who is a shoemaker. I have a younger brother named Oscar, and I really enjoy playing with him and sometimes with my cousin. I also help at home by cleaning and I always try to finish my homework before it gets dark. When I grow up, I would like to be a tailor like my mom. 

I like watching TV, especially soap operas, with my parents. I love soccer, and my favorite color is purple. At home, I feel good and very happy. I have four pets—three dogs and a cat—and I love all of them very much. My favorite food is arroz a la valenciana and my favorite drink is cacao because it’s so tasty. I have three special friends: Gabriela, Isabella, and Kenia. 

What I like about the Pantanal Center is that I can speak without being shy and people really listen to me. I enjoy learning new things while having fun. My favorite subject is English because it’s my favorite language.
